Commissioner Ron Morrison is not your typical politician. In 2004, he was named Citizen of the Year by the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce. Yet, titles and distinctions are less important to Ron than getting a job done and doing it well. Ron’s qualities set him apart because he is, simply, one of us. Tough on crime

Ron has worked tirelessly to ensure adequate funding for County law enforcement, as well as for courts and prosecutors that are tough on crime. Under Ron’s leadership, Williamson County remains one of the safest counties in Texas.

 

Strong on Transportation

Ron has contributed to the growth of a transportation system that keeps traffic safe and timely, and provides maximum access to all areas of the County.

 

Supports Low Taxation

Despite significant County growth, Ron’s fiscally conservative approach has focused on providing first-class County services, while maintaining a low level of taxation across-the-board. The County tax rate today is lower than when Ron took office.

 

Increased EMS Personnel

Ron has increased EMS personnel in Precinct 4 to ensure a fast emergency response system.

Ron has supported the growth of quality parks in Precinct 4 to provide safe areas for families.
